Covid-19 – Okomu acquires non-contact infrared thermometers

As part of its continuous effort in ensuring the safety of it workers, contractors and suppliers against the Coronavirus, the management of Okomu Oil Palm Company Plc., has secured non-contact infrared thermometer for the use in the plantations.

During a training organized for security personnel on how to operate the non-contact infrared thermometer, the company’s Resident Doctor, Matthew Omorogbe represented by nurse Beauty Odaro said the thermometer is use to check the actual temperature of the human body.

It could be recalled that since the index case of the coronavirus was recorded in Nigeria, the management of Okomu Oil Palm Company Plc., has put in place various measures in ensuring that workers are safe from the virus.
